SPIDERTANGLE GLYPHLETTER

I threw this out this morning on a whim. But thru 40 mile an hours winds, 20 below temperatures & an hour in the social security office, it really started exciting me to think about it. There are 2 possible directions this could go & it could easily be both. The first is an actual SPIDERTANGLE font. 26 vispoets assigned a letter & a special character. So for instance, since I have an affinity with A (as in aND) I would make a capital A, a lower case a, & an ampersand. To do this collectively I would create a template which is essentially a box with height & width & a baseline (a baseline is the 0 line which all letters sit on & the legs of letters like j,g,y hang beneath). Folks could work into that space freehand or with computer tho it would have to be in black for optimal tracing. (fonts are vector tracings.) The other or alternative possibility would be an all-out glyphs as individual visual pieces, Every single one different, much more like a visual poetry collection in a font suitcase. For this people could literally send me any high contrast black & white work, tho to work as a font at many different point sizes pieces have to be fairly simple. These fonts would work on both PC & Mac, can be installed & used in your favorite word processor or graphics program. I use FONTLAB & SCANFONT for typography, which are fairly sophisticated programs
